Bonta was touted as a Yale Law grad with serious city experience. He took an oath to use his experience and talent in serving those who elected him. They elected him to use his judgement. Yet within days of taking office, he simply echoed the vindictive and brutal retaliation by Tam to oust the City's chief executive, one of his three employees. This was not a decision to be made lightly to fulfill his campaign commitment to Tam. Bonta should have given the ICM a chance to perform, provide her guidance as to his wishes, and feedback if she failed. Standard personnel and HR stuff. Without one word of what he expected from her, or giving her time to accommodate his policies, he vacated his responsibilities to the voters and echoed Tam. One simply needs to note that the ICM was the GO TO PERSON when both the school district and City needed to find money to save the school district from its most recent fiasco and shortfall. Professionalism, quality, and what is truly best for the majority of Alameda is no longer of consequence when this council makes a decision. Power corrupts. Usually not this fast. They've got three votes - and they are going to do whatever they want - like it or not. It is truly a sad day for Alameda. And a great day for SUNCAL.

TO: Whom It May Concern at State AG Office

Thank you for the phone call yesterday as you can tell there are a lot of issues that have surrounded the recent election for Mayor and city council in Alameda.

I will be sending more information as it is compiled but here is some basic information this all started after the city pulled out of a contract to develop the former navy base the contractor made statement about our elections and then filed suit against the city.

1) The non-profit hired by Sun cal the developer and its shell companies is not licensed by the state of California or the city of Rocklin where its shows their addresses and an actual phone number as a non-profit. A company at that addresses shows up under a Bing addresses and phone number search to be a consulting company with ties to major politicians and loophole endorsements and companies that can be traced back. I have copies of their web pages and face book that show the same addresses.

2) The city is currently involved in a suit with the firefighters union though the Mayor elect and a council member was endorsed by them and were present at their after election party.

3) A newly reelected council member endorsed by the firefighters union and involved in the Sun Cal dispute leaked confidential city of Alameda emails to the developer (Sun Cal) that we have legal action pending in court with. (Video from council meeting)

4) Threatening email from a campaign manager
regarding photos that show mayor elect with SunCal and firefighters union rep. At her after election party. Photos were on face book and according to case law can be used in a court of law.
